Benalla Pinot Gris

Form Central Italy originally this variety is growing in favor even in the warmer areas in the South of France. In Australia it performs really well in the warmer areas along the Murray River producing a lovely fresh “Sav Blanc” style with hints of grassy floral flavours without the aggression of Sav Blanc.

White peach, lime zest, and grapefruits on the nose follow through to melon, citrus cordial, and a balanced chalky minerality on the palate, all finishing up nice and zesty. This is a fantastically drinkable wine, brilliant for afternoons out in the sun.
