OMG Confit is a melt-in-your-mouth mushroom delicacy that hails from an SCM collaboration
with one of Melbourne’s best chefs during lockdowns in 2021. Now prepared in-house by us,
OMG Confit is made with whole fresh oyster mushrooms that have been lightly cooked in a bay
leaf and thyme infused olive oil with a hint of local garlic and a dash of red wine vinegar.
OMG Confit is a perfect addition to an antipasto platter, as a topping for gourmet pizzas or
stirred through fresh pasta with parsley and pecorino. Toasties will never be the same again
without it but if you can’t wait just grab a fork and eat the Oyster Mushroom Goodness straight
from the jar. They are dangerously good.
Vegan and gluten free, OMG Confit is cooked up lovingly in small batches produced by the SCM
team on the same site as the Sporadical City Mushrooms farm in Alphington.
