Shu Mai is an open-toped steamed dim sum or dumpling which tastes a little like a juicy pork meatball. These tasty dim sum originated in the Inner Mongolian city of Hohhot, but are now popular in many places around the world.

Each pack arrives frozen, so you can cook straight away or store to enjoy at a later date.

PREPARATION

1: Bring water to boil in a pot.

2: Place dumpling paper or a leaf of lettuce inside steamer to prevent sticking.

3: Put dumplings into steamer and space them out so they do not touch.

4: Place steamer with lid on, on top of pot.

5: Steam for 8 minutes.

6: Serve with sauce of your choice.
