Tex Mex Tacos with Guacamole
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Gewürzhaus Tex Mex Taco Spice
500g lean beef mince
¾ cup of water or beef stock
Hard or soft shell tacos
Cheddar (or Monterey Jack) cheese
In a heavy based pan, heat the oil. Add the mince and cook for 5 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps.
Add Tex Mex Taco Spice, water or beef stock and simmer for 20 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
In the meantime, prepare guacamole, diced tomato, lettuce and cheese to serve in taco shells.
Once the sauce has thickened, assemble tacos.
To assemble the tacos, pile diced tomatoes, lettuce, mince meat sauce, Guacamole and cheese on top.
